  1. He doesn't really have any form of multiple personality disorder. That's crap. I would know, my mom was Kathy Bonney's best friend. He deserves to burn in hell.

    1. Hello,

I'm an Associate Producer working on a new show on the Tom Bonney case for the Investigation Discovery channel. I'd love to talk to you and your mother more about this. Please email me at bonneystory@gmail.com, where I can give you more details about the show, and my company.

    3. It's my understanding that even his own wife didn't know about his multiple personality although she noticed him acting strange at times. If the wife didnt know, how could his daughter?

  2. I am a born again believer, and I believe that Thomas Lee Bonney was demon possesed at the time he murdered his daughter. From what I've read, and seen on tv about him, it seems to be the most logical reason for him to have commited this hainus crime.

    1. To suppose that "demon possession" drove this man to his hideous act is NOT logical whatsoever. This is what religious people do: when an actual (or scientific *gasp!*) answer doesn't satisfy, they look to magic. It's ludicrous, but that never seems to stop those who are prone to such flights of fancy.

People murder each other every day in this country. Serial killers, spree killers, domestic killers (like Tom), etc. It isn't, unfortunately, all that unusual. Sorry, but there are no supernatural forces at work when murder happens. It's someone losing control of his/her negative emotions (greed, lust, pride) and thinking that someone else needs to pay the price. And don't equate human murderers with animals (which only kill to survive, teach their young, or procreate.) If you want think of human murderers as "monsters" - well, that's all right by me. The sad fact is there is NOTHING more "human" than killing for the aforementioned reasons.

Sorry - but *RASPBERRY SOUND* to your nonsensical comment.

    2. Demon possession? What a joke. People used to explain away things as "demon possession" when they didn't have a clue as to what they were talking about. Dissociative Identity Disorder is an actual thing and I've seen someone with it. However, I'm not sure I buy this weasel's story.

    3. It's obvious that you've given up on any thoughts of a hereafter or herein. Most people believe that there is a spiritual world around us, so your comment is in the minority. Besides, can you prove your statement any more than those who claim there is a spiritual world? It's opinion just as, for most, it is opinion that there is a spiritual world.

    4. Brilliantly said. I too become infuriated with this 'possession', supernatural being nonsense .Just look at the inherent makeup of humans for the answers. And yes, the creatures we call animals are our superior in many ways. It is only our appalling species that kills in these ghastly ways and often en masse. We will deserve our extinction when it comes, lets hope we leave SOMETHING for the poor other species that have had to endure us living with them on the planet.

  3. Tom was possessed is what i told every one back in the 80,s , but who would believe it anyway ?
he always had a lot of problems, but i was shocked to find out he did it.
as for Kathy she was kind and nice to everyone
she had a very hard family life , but was always
cheerful, i will never forget that , she was a
christian. So there was a spiritual component to this all along
as for Johnny, Tommy, Susan, Jennifer, and baby sister in "1987"
I hope all is ok , i heard Dorothy passed away a few years ago
she was a good mother to them , she will be missed, it has been 25 years and
i have not spoken to tom since we went to jail , but may god have mercy, i know Kathy would have..

  4. He deserves to rot in hell, in other words, live a long life!

  5. He lied about having multiple personality disorder in order to get away with murder scott free. Thank God it did not work.

    1. Exactly! Tom's ridiculous "multiple personality" defense indicates to me that he feels no real remorse for his horrific act, and yet fully comprehends the taboo nature of killing one's own child. "Multiple personalities." Pah! I am always grateful when juries see through these pathetic "Hail Mary" defenses - and I don't know how quack shrinks and defense attorneys who promote these things sleep at night.

  6. People like him shouldnt just get life in prison, or even the death penalty. he'd be getting off too easy. People like him deserve to be tortured every day on their lives. He's a piece of garbage that should be treated as such. He's not human, he should be shot 27 times and then beaten and tortured until this scum takes his last breath.. I just watched a show on what he did and I am so disgusted I want to puke.

  7. I suspect incest. He was so controlling of her. And the next oldest daughter said she woke up to him holding a knife over her head. He must have feared Kathy telling on him. Anyway, she isn't here to tell now. He made sure of that. And the overkill definitely shows he felt betrayed.
